Prophylactic Antibiotic within 1 hour of incision—Other Cardiac/Open Heart Surgery

Patients having open heart surgery other than coronary artery bypass graft who received medicine to prevent infection (an antibiotic) within one hour before the skin was surgically cut.*

NOTE: Use caution when drawing conclusions when the sample size is small (generally considered 25 cases or less).
